Description
An 18th Century English Silver Meat Platter. George III Oval Platter with gadrooning border and bearing the family coronet and crest of Richard Pemell Viscount Lyons made in London by Robert Sharp in 1798, bearing hallmarks of London 1798 and RS for Robert Sharp 22" x 15.5", wt: approx 91 ozt
Condition
Rim of the "well" measures 12" x 18.5". There are numerous light scratches and cut marks on the interior of the platter. There are numerous light and heavy scratches on the bottom.
