Description
Tiffany & Co. (American (New York), founded 1837), circa 1947-1956. A simple but heavy sterling silver bowl of round form raised on a subtly flaring ring foot. Engraved to underside "Ladies / Amateur Championship of America / at Single Targets / New York Athletic Club / May 10, 1952 / 2nd High Gun". Underside with maker's mark "Tiffany & Co / Makers / Sterling Silver / 20024 / M" indicating manufacture during the directorship of Louis deBebian Moore. Approximate height 3.375", diameter 6". Approximate weight 12.2 troy ounces.
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some surface scratching and nicks overall. Some wear from polishing. Minor polish residue. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
