Description
Group of seven celluloid items comprising five buttons [4 pinback and 1 filled back] and two jugate pendant badge parts with brass bezels. Buttons [sizes from 1-3/4" diameter to 2-1/4" diameter] include four portrait examples [one with border legend "A full Dinner Pail / Get On The Westinghouse Band Wagon"] accompanied by a filled back jugate with Hobart featuring a federal eagle above portraits. Badge parts [both 1-3/4" diameter] include: 1.) Jugate [holed at top for suspension] with reverse featuring an illustration of a ladies' shoe beside a gold coin with caption "Sound Money" and border legend "New York Shoe Trade / 1896." 2.) Jugate with imprint "Our Standard Bearers / McKinley & Hobart." Reverse bears small ribbon fragment at top. Three buttons retain Whitehead & Hoag back papers.
Condition
Buttons in generally very good condition. Badge part with shoe illustration dented.
