Description
Azechi Umetaro (1902-1999) was a Japanese artist who struggled early on due to his lack of resources and large distance between him and any city. After landing a job at a printing company he started experimenting by making images of mountains. He gained popularity and took part in all three print biennales in Sao Paulo, Lugano and Tokyo.
