A conch pearl and diamond ring. The conch pearl, with old-cut diamond double halo, each halo with similarly-cut diamond raised highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts, I-J colour, SI clarity. Ring size J. Weight 11.8gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Replacement lower mount and band.

Diamonds fairly well matched.

Individual size and setting of some smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Most diamonds with small, scattered inclusions, few diamonds with small surface reaching features and small chips.

Conch pearl is a light medium pink hue, with slight integral brown discolouration. Some dark discolouration near the drill holes.

Moderate abrasion.

The pearl moves slightly and almost rotates within the mount.

Approximate dimensions of pearl 11 by 10mms. (Depth of mount restricts accurate measurement of depth).
