Seth Thomas Mahogany Transitional Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, ca. 1830s, beautifully stenciled splat and half columns flank door, stenciled and reverse painted lower table (has small crack), painted dial with flower corner decorations, label, "Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold at Plymouth, Connecticut, by Seth Thomas". Wooden works, thirty hour time and strike movement. Measures approx. 27 1/2" tall x 17" wide x 4" deep.
