Description
Seth Thomas Mahogany carved and mahogany veneer shelf clock, Plymouth Hollow, Connecticut, c. 1825, carved shellf and foliate crest with flanking square plinghts, reverse painted tablet with stenciled bottom, white and gilt painted wooden dial, 30 hour wooden weight driven movement, nice label, "Patent Clocks, invented by Eli Terry, made and sold at Plymouth Hollow, Conn. by Seth Thomas", turned half columns on either side, measures approx. 35" tall x 17 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep. Has small crack on lower corner of bottom glass.
