ROSENBERG ALFRED: (1893-1946) German Theorist, Leader of the Foreign Policy Office of the NSDAP 1933-45. At the Nuremberg Trials Rosenberg was sentenced to death and executed by hanging for war crimes and crimes against humanity. A.L.S., A Rosenberg, one page, small 4to, Nuremberg, 14th October 1946, to an unidentified recipient, in German. Writing in bold pencil, Rosenberg heads his letter Request and states 'I request that the enclosed letters (no longer present) from my relatives be handed over to my defence counsel, either Dr. A. Thema…..or Dr. P. Ratz….', also providing the addresses of each. With blank integral leaf. VG
