Each Modeled as a faun with vines in its hair and clutching a turquoise conch shell draped with a pink ribbon and sat upon a brown rocky ground with scattered bunches of grapes and leaves and all s c.1875. Each Modeled as a faun with vines in its hair and clutching a turquoise conch shell draped with a pink ribbon and sat upon a brown rocky ground with scattered bunches of grapes and leaves and all supported on a circular cushioned base with a deep turquoise frieze decorated with grapes and vine. An etching in the Art Journal Catalog of the International Exhibition 1871 shows single version of this vase. Pg.45 Cluett, 9”
