A stunning pair of vintage drop earrings, set with amber resin, in 830 silver, Scandinavia, circa 1970's - 1990's. The whimsical settings have been finely crafted out of 830 silver in the form of leaves and berries and dangle from latch back ear wires. Each has been set with a richly colored solitaire round cabochon cut amber gem totaling, approximately, 3.52 carats. The earrings are in excellent condition showing general signs of wear. Mentioned for accuracy there is a small pin prick to the back of one of the amber gems where it was tested and does little to detract from its overall fineness. They weigh approximately 3.82 grams together and each measure 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) long by 0.67 inches (1.7 cm) wide. They are marked 830 (confirmed with acid testing). Gorgeous!
