A stunning antique dangle pendant, set with a pink sapphire and diamonds, in 9Kt gold, Ottoman Empire, Jerusalem, Israel (previously Southern Syria), circa 1870 - 1900. This fantastic and rare piece has been expertly hand-crafted out of 9 karat rosey yellow gold and prong set with an oval cut sapphire measuring, approximately, 0.85 carats. The gem is a fine pink hue, has medium saturation, light tone and very good clarity. Complementing it are 36 diamonds, cut in natural form, totaling, approximately, 2.48 carats. The pendant is in excellent condition showing expected signs of wear. It weighs, approximately, 12.12 grams and measures 2.05 inches (5.2 cm) by 1.11 inches (2.8 cm). It is unmarked but tested positive for 9K gold. Unique!
