Good condition overall, having a small tear at the bottom of the sheet which has been repaired and does not intrude upon the watercolor. Unframed for auction inspection and shipping.

Preston Hall Gallery sold a work attributed to Paul Gauguin on March 10, 2015, from the same collection as the present lot. Subsequently, that drawing sold at Sotheby's, Paris, on June 1, 2016, Lot 79, in the amount of $33,428.
