The connection to the inside is secure. The only writing is Allen's inscription and signature. There are no stamps or other attachments. The pages are clean and unfaded, with the many photographs and all text as new. The inside cover spreads, with their plans of Allen's cutter, are also clean and unfaded, as is the color map/chart at the end of the book. The binding is tight, with no loose or missing pages.
