A Georgian-style wig stand with a round top, two drawers in a triangular case, with barley twist and scroll supports ending in a tripod base with cabriole legs. These are sometimes misleadingly called wig stands and were not for standing your wig on. They did in fact, hold a small basin and perhaps some wig powder and stood in front of a mirror so you could adjust and primp your 18th century wig while dressing. Approximate Measurements: 34" T x 12" W. Condition: Very nice, seperation of the wood above top drawer.
