Original painted brown hair and eyes. Applied ears. Cloth torso is very clearly stamped: PATENTED Sept. 26, 1906. No. 2. MRS. S.S. SMITH. Manufacturer of and Dealer in The Alabama Industructible Doll. ROANOKE, ALA. Painted lower limbs including her bare feet. Dressed in simple white cotton dress, petticoat, wool knit booties. Condition: right ear has been repaired. Both wrists have been repaired (Repairs completed years ago.) . Rust mark on torso from old doll stand. Clothing has age discoloration.
