American colonial revival bonnet-top highboy. American, 20th century. American, late 19th to early 20th century. Chippendale-style Colonial Revival mahogany highboy in two parts, the bonnet top with a broken pediment having three carved urn finials and shell rosettes above a central shell carved drawer, flanked by two small drawers, over five drawers. The bottom case with one long drawer over two short drawers with central shell carved drawer, over a serpentine scrolled shaped skirt centering a scrolled shell, raised on carved cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. Height 84", width 38", depth 19 1/2".
