Carl Thieme, Pottschapel/Dresden, late 19th/early 20th century, richly gilded, reticulated and polychrome painted porcelain comport in the "Dresden" style, the standard modeled as a tree trunk covered with applied flowers and flanked by a young couple, the bowl and standard bolted together, underglaze blue mark of conjoined "P" and "S", 16-3/4 in., [repaired flower on reverse of standard, flower missing from boy's repaired hand, a few applied flowers with small edge chips, girl has one finger missing and one that is repaired, some wear to gilding]; with two small porcelain dishes with applied flowers, underglaze blue mark of crown over "N" and "Dresden" and overglaze "Made in/Western Germany", 5-1/8 in. wide, [one of the small dishes is repaired].
