A fine Chinese porcelain footed bowl. The underside bearing a six-character mark for Ming Dynasty, Chenghua reign. The exterior and interior of the bowl decorated with overglaze turquoise / blue and rouge de fer enamels depicting an undersea motif of fish swimming in stylized waves. A tree grows out and above the sea, bearing branches of flowers. The interior having a center roundel with a similar theme. Measures 7.25" diameter, 3.25" high.
