Description
Renaissance Style Bronze Dressing Mirror, late 19th c., the oval beveled mirror upheld by a figural putto support, flanked by two scrolled candle arms, on a pierced base on splayed feet, H.- 19 5/8 in., W.- 9 7/8 in., D.- 5 3/4 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. An internal chip is noted in the upper right of the mirror plate with a thin black dime size scratch around it. The left arm is bent slightly back. Faint greenish residue is seen intermittently in the crevices. Several flea-size chips in the base. An elegant piece.
