Description
Jean Moral, or Arsene Jean Jacques Gaston Moral, was a French photographer and painter. In 1925, Moral began taking photos in Paris, the same time as Andre Kertesz. Moral's photographs from 1925 to 1940 embody the spirit of modernism in photography and depict his eye for graphic abstraction and tight composition. His photos of Paris, of his wife, and of himself are considered his most expressive.
