A dollar bill signed by John Lennon. According to the consigner: This was acquired by my neighbor at the Cafe La Fortuna in Manhattan near the Dakota where John Lennon lived. He showed this to me in 1978 after he had gotten it. He was having lunch with business associates when Lennon came into the cafe with his son. Apparently this was a favorite place of Lennon's and he was a regular customer. At first he didn't want to bother Lennon, but did so when others approached him for autographs and Lennon was accommodating. He pulled this dollar out of his wallet and gave it to Lennon to sign. I purchased this directly from my Neighbor after Lennon died two years later in 1980.
