A FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND PORCELAIN MOUNTED BLACK LACQUERED CABINET A DEUX CORPS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, with a shaped rectangular molded cornice above a frieze centering conforming polychrome painted plaques showing courting couples, flanking a circular musical trophy over a hinged door enclosing a large oval plaque decorated with a couple in 18th century costume seated in a romantic landscape within leaf tip encadrements, cornered by plaques with scantily robed cherubs at various pursuits within matching encadrements, alternating crisply cast florettes and marguerites, flanked by disengaged colonettes with bronze Corinthian capitals, on a conforming base cabinet with frieze drawer and hinged door with conforming plaques continuing the courting couples theme, within disengaged colonettes surmounted by Corinthian capitals, raised on a conforming plinth. Height: 89 1/4" Width: 36 3/4" Depth: 22 5/8"
