Silver sword & sheath from the 19th - 20th Century with Ming Dynasty jade carvings. The sheath and sword are inlaid with lapis lazuli, coral, and turquoise. It has chilong, phoenix, and floral motifs incised and carved into the silver. There are 6 inlaid jade carvings on the sheath and sword. Each white jade piece is carved with a chilong. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from Oriental Antique, Hong Kong.
Dimensions are 2 1/2 inches wide by 29 1/2 inches long. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It shows signs of wear. The blade is rusted. Some of the stones are missing.
Provenance: From a New York estate.
