Description
A wonderful all original depot timetable from 1878. This is a Winter schedule announcement. It has FRR nicely incised in the top panel of the frame. The frame measures 17" by 25". The poster is fantastic with vivid color. There are different sections with meat and potatoes schedules near toe bottom. They were promoting "Through" service to the West which required the use partners beyond Albany. A nice piece of New England history.
Note that the frame was designed for depot use. This means it has two horizontal slats on the back. The slats rotate on center pins and lock into the vertical frame pieces. This is a "quick release" mechanism that allowed for schedules or advertising to be changed quickly.
