Description
GERMAN METTLACH MOLDED PAIR OF SPILL VASES, having marbled brown and white clay with molded leaves and branches on outside, white glaze on interior, and blue rim. Marked on base of both with applied white clay having two eagles flanking a shield with crown and "VB" on shield. Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach, Germany. Circa 1850. 3 7/8" H.
