FIGURAL COCKATOO CAST-IRON DOORSTOPS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a flat-back Hubley #180 Cockatoo on Perch; and a full-figure, solid-body Albany Foundry Cockatoo on Stump. Both in original paint. Hubley Manufacturing Co., Lancaster, PA and Albany Foundry Co., Albany, NY. First half 20th century. 7 1/4" to 8 1/8" HOA.
Both in good condition with minor to moderate wear and areas of discoloration to painted surface.
Literature: Cockatoo on Perch parallels Smith - The Doorstop Book, p. 98, middle right.
