1939-1941 PLAY BALL AND OTHER VINTAGE BASEBALL CARDS, LOT OF 44, comprising 32 examples from the 1939 Play Ball set, including #1 J. Powell, #21 Dutch Leonard, #52 T. Henrich, #106 Dolly Stark, and #113 A. Schacht; a 1940 Play Ball #15 G. Case, a 1941 Play Ball #53 L. Hamlin, a 1934 Diamond Stars #15 R. Bartell, a 1935 Diamond Stars #45 Jo Jo White; four examples from the 1949 Bowman set, including #172 E. Pellagrini, and #206 B. Edwards; a 1952 Bowman #149 H. Judson, a 1950 Berk Ross #4-1 G. Woodling, and two 1959 Fleer Ted Williams examples, #27 July 9, 1946 - One Man Show, and #72 Ted's Hitting Fundamentals. Play Ball examples in clear plastic binder sheets, remainder in individual rigid plastic sleeves. 1934-1950.
Very good condition overall, with fuzzy or slightly rounded corners, expected toning and minor discoloration, some in lesser condition, with minor creases or stains; some in excellent condition with less than expected wear; 1941 Play Ball #53 Hamlin with moderate edge wear and staining/discoloration, Diamond Stars #15 Bartell example with area of creasing and loss to back in one upper corner.
