ENGLAND, LATE 18TH CENTURY
A fine English George III ivory, rosewood, and silver mounted coconut cup. The coconut is mounted on a rosewood carved base with flared stem. The coconut is finely carved with intricate detailing decorated with tropical flowers in high relief. The cup is accented by a hand hammered silver rim surmounted by a carved rosewood cover with carved ivory acorn finial. A fine and early example of an English coconut cup.
