Description
ALL Victorian , ALL Original and authentic. These are fabulous accents when framed in groups. 1- R.H. Macy, New York 19th c. Victorian Trade Card with 3 well dressed young girls each holding a doll. 4.25x2.75. 2- Three early trade cards advertising Henry Maillard, Confectioner in New York City all 19th c.. Henri Maillard came to New York City from France in the 1840s bringing with him a bit of Paris represented in the pots and pans and fancy molds he used as a chocolatier. He let the public know he was ready to produce meringues, Charlotte Russes, jellies and ice creams for balls and parties, as well as provide dinners by reservation on his premises. His fame spread beyond New York, leading him to cater an inaugural ball and grand dinners at the Lincoln White House. In 1878 he took the gold medal at the Paris Universal Exposition. 3- John Wanamaker, Philadelphia c. 1880s All under one Rood and on One Floor 3.50x2.25. 4- Zehder, Marcell & Co Fine Clothing, 151 Market Street, Newark NJ c. 1880-1890 5.50x3.50. 5- A.L. Bullard Boots & Shoes, Peterboro, NH 4.35x2.50. 10- Standard Screw Fastened Boots & Shoes c. 1890, Lewis A Farrer, North Turner, ME. 5.25x3.25. Wt on all 2 oz.
