7 @ HEBBELINCK & CONTINENTIAL ETCHINGS IN COLOR: A Collection of 7 Signed and numbered European Aquatint Etchings, most by Roger Hebbelinck (Belgian 1912-), 1.) Two hand colored aquatint etching depicting the French countryside. Both signed, numbered and titled in graphite and with the publisher's information verso, both 12.375"h x 17.5"w. 1.) "La Saone", 184 of 350, signed, numbered and titled in pencil, with publisher's information verso. 2.) "Le Moselle" (named after a river which flows through France, Luxembourg, and Germany, numbered 286 of 300. In total: 4 large aquatint etchings, each signed and numbered in graphite: 25.25"h x 20"w, and 3 smaller 12.375"h x 17.5"w, one 7" x 8.25" Published by Stehli Freres of Switzerland. Stehli was founded in Geneva in 1902 and had a worldwide reputation for their high standards of quality. PROVENANCE: from distinguished gentleman’s living estate, former renowned Antiques Dealer, and world-wide Collector of valued Fine-Art, extensive Antiques (w/ an expertise in Asian, European and Americana).
Condition
All with some light foxing in the margins, but free of tears, repairs and major damage.
