Item Details

Description

A three piece baby / youth set with deep acid etched decoration. The etchings on the cup depict children playing in a summer setting and in a winter setting, with a poem: "Sing a song seasons. Something bright to show. Flowers in the Summer. In the winter snow". The etchings on the bowl depict children playing in all four seasons and has the wording, "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter". The etchings on the plate depict a family of birds raising a family through the year and several different views of children playing outdoors.

Maker: Wm B. Kerr & Co. of Newark, New Jersey

Date: 1910's

Cup Dimensions: 4 1/4 inches across x 3 inches diameter x 2 1/2 inches tall

Bowl Dimensions: 4 1/2 inches diameter x 1 1/2 inches tall

Plate Dimensions: 6 3/4 inches diameter x 1/2 inch tall

Markings: All three pieces have the same Kerr stock number stamped on the bottom, the number 1528. Not monogrammed
