Venetian, mid 20th century. A polychromed and parcel gilt Venetian Baroque style queen-sized headboard, crested in form, having a scrolled and pierced parcel gilt and turquoise wood acanthus and rose motif, over a turquoise panel with a molded parcel gilt border. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 64", width 64", depth 2.5".

Typical surface wear commensurate with age and use, including some small losses to gilt and polychrome, some surface abrasions/accretions, and some minor scratching. Dusty.
