Description

English, late 19th century. A carved oak architectural Neoclassical style dragon, left-facing and horizontal in form, having a snarling lion's face and claws, extended feathered wings, and a scrolled, acanthus decorated tail. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 13.25", width 28.375", depth 2.25".
