Item Details

Description

American, 20th century. A patinated and textured metal crane sculpture or fountain, featuring an upturned tail, gilt legs, and a gilt beak, balancing on an angled log, with patinated cat whiskers at the base. With a pipe leading into the base, and spouts at the top of each cat whisker. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 35.375", width 26", depth 14".

Condition

Some overall surface wear, including scratching and losses to patina, with white accretions overall. Functionality of fountain has not been tested, and does not include pump. About 40 lbs. No other visible signs of damage or repair. Prior to bidding, please consult the additional photos provided and ask all pertinent questions (i.e. condition, size, etc.).
