T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings (American, 1905-1976) for Widdicomb Furniture Company (American, founded 1858), circa 1950s. A scarce Mid Century two drawer dark walnut coffee or cocktail table, model #1633, having a circular top over a hidden drawer to each side and supported by tapered and turned legs, all united by a conforming, continuous stretcher. Table is marked to the underside with model #1633 and dated 12/50. Approximate height 15.5", diameter 40".

Wear commensurate with age and use. Scattered areas of repair to top that are not distracting but fluoresce under blacklight. Drawers open and shut smoothly, and have original blocks.
