Sister Mary Corita Kent (American, 1918 - 1986), "Abandon"-circa 1960-70, serigraph on paper, indistinctly graphite titled at lower left "...Abandon", graphite signed at lower right "Mary Corita Kent". Figural abstract print depicting a horned ram in abstracted space, with organic forms suggesting flora and fauna. With label to verso "Fred Reed Atlanta, Georgia". Framed approximately 29.5" x 37.625". Sight approximately 22.25" x 30.5". Note: Sister Mary Corita Kent was an American Catholic Nun and social rights activist. The Corita Art Center in Los Angeles, California is dedicated to the life and work of the artist.
