Delaware. January 1, 1776. Five Shillings. Signed by “James Sykes,” Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
Fr. DE-77. The face side has an impressive bold Gem appearance, perfectly printed and centered within four sharp margins. The reverse is crisp and has sharp details yet the centering is off slightly at left for full Gem status. Signed by “James Sykes” (1761-1822) who was an American physician and politician from Dover, in Kent County, Delaware. He was a member of the Federalist Party, who served in the Delaware General Assembly and as Governor of Delaware.
