Inset 12 in. dia. porcelain charger painted with an interior scene of an artist seated at his easel painting a portrait of a young girl seated in a chair as a woman peers over his left shoulder; has a green border with gilt trim, unsigned and in good condition. The top has a pierced brass gallery edge with hanging chains connecting to the 3 legs which have brass mounts, 2 turned center finials and curved feet. Nice original ebonized finish, in good overall condition, few splits in the top edge and a repair to one leg. 31 in. high x 14.5 in. dia.
