Head with glass eyes, and painted lips, eyebrows and hair. Hole to top of head for hair attachment. Holes in ears for earrings. Approximately Spanish Colonial era. At one time attached to a carved wooden body and displayed for prayer. MEASUREMENTS: Head: 5-3/4" x 2" x 3-1/2". Hand: 3-1/2" x 1-3/4". CONDITION: Apparent toning to surface consistent with handling and age. IMPORTANT NOTE: Over 100 years old (Spanish Colonial era) and African in origin. From a local collector.
