Item Details
Description
J.R. ROBERTSON CANOE - Circa 1915, Magnificent 16' torpedo-nosed 'courting' canoe from a century ago, made by famous Charles River builder J R Robertson, Auburndale, Mass. Matched mahogany decks, mahogany trim, thwarts and seat back, steam bent cedar ribs and planking. Beautifully finished in white with green, gold and red trim. You would be hard pressed to find anything of comparable quality or value. While fully functional, this canoe would also make a great decoration piece in a home, cabin, or restaurant. One thing is for certain, this canoe is bound to turn heads no matter where you take her. Includes cedar paddle. LOA - 16', Beam - 32". Very good condition, minor losses to coaming trim.
