There is rubbing to the gilt on many pieces in the seet. One fruit bowl has a chip to the rim. One bread plate has a chip to the rim. The large oval platter had a .5" chip to the underside of the rim which has been restored. Several of the pieces in the set have small spots of removeable surface residue and need to be cleaned. Overall very good condition
