Description
This cane or walking stick has a carved surface in a manner reminiscent of beading. From the base upward are two pairs of intertwined snakes, one pair on top of the other, leading to the traditional coat of arms of Mexico. This coat of arms is their mythological founding of the ancient city of Tenochitlan. It depicts a golden eagle clutching a snake in its talons and beak with the sun rising behind it. It stands on a prickly pair, over a dream catcher shape declaring "Mexico."
