Condition: Patination build up on the metal, three major splits in the wooden base, some rubbing and wear to the corners of the base, ragged edging to the cloth, and some warping to the information plate on the top.
History: Holtzer-Cabot was a company founded in 1875 as Holtzer Co., became Seth W. Fuller & Holtzer in 1880, and finally settled with its final name in 1889. It produced small motors, telegraph accessories, and fire alarm systems until closing in 1972.
