Pale rose color with orange tint, this vase has a leaf and blue-berry design done in positive relief. It is signed "Galle" just above the base.

History: Emile Galle was a glass maker and artist of the late 19th Century. His works were first recognized in 1878 during the Paris Exhibition, and again a decade later, which kick-started his career as a respected artist. He founded The Nancy School for the Art Nouveau Movement in 1901 with four others. His works remain a popular item through to today with many pieces still bearing his signature and style.
