HENRY HOOPER BRASS DOUBLE-ARM ARGAND LAMP, urn-form reservoir, each burner tube with brass label marked "MANUFACTURED BY / H. N. HOOPER & CO / BOSTON", raised on a square weighted base. Fitted with later cut and frosted shades. Mid 19th century. 17 1/2" HOA, 15" W.
Excellent visual condition, converted to electric with associated alterations, lacking one shade prong, shades with chipping to fitters.
Provenance: Collection of the late Richard and Florence Birdsall.
