BRADLEY & HUBBARD BRASS COLONIAL SINGLE-ARM STUDENT LAMP, opal shade with polychrome floral decoration, adjustable on central shaft which terminates to a ring, acorn-form reservoir with metal swirled finials to top and bottom with matching form font, circular weighted foot. Fitted with a period No. 3 Duplex burner, colorless chimney with nine-petal top. Fourth quarter 19th century. 19 1/2" HOA, 13" WOA. Shade 4 1/2" H, 10" D fitter.
(UPDATED 7/28/16) Very good overall condition, some minor wear and scattered minute denting, reservoir with a hole near rim which is probably as made, central connecting arm knob with a hole and ill-fitting set screw, light split to central shaft, shade undamaged. Burner deflector with light denting, chimney undamaged.
