EUROPEAN OPALINE PAIR OF MANTLE LUSTERS, translucent starch blue with applied opal rims, each trumpet form top featuring a ruffled rim hung with eight matching long prisms, raised on a beehive-like stem and circular foot with polished pontil mark. Fourth quarter 19th century. 9 1/2" H, 4 1/4" D rim.
Undamaged except for two minor losses to opal on one rim, several flakes to prisms.
Provenance: From a Maine private collection.
