HOBBS NO. 290 / POLKA DOT TUMBLERS, SET OF 12 WITH NO. 5 ENGRAVING, ruby sapphire (bluerina), rubina verde, three rubina, two canary, two sapphire, marine green, old gold (amber) and crystal, original box with hinged lid and interior dividers, one side of box with period pencil inscription "Goblets, g++/1.50 dz price". Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Circa 1884. Tumblers 3 3/4" H, box 3 1/4" H, 12 1/2" SQ.
Undamaged except for a flake to rim of one rubina and a minute flake to green example, box with expected wear and separation at hinge.
