Sicura was a brand found by Ernest Schneider, a pilot, watch manufacturer and microelectronics specialist all rolled into one, many different models of Sicura watches were made with different purposes in the 1960's and 1970's. There were technical watches such as jump-hour pieces, solar powered models, divers and many watches with chronograph and other functions. Sicura watches are easily identified by the nice coat-of-arms on the back. Additonally, Sicura's attention to fashion lead them to produce a diverse range of timepieces. Some of the Breitling watches produced after 1979 share similar features with Sicura watches from the same period and therefore look highly similar.
