DESCRIPTION: An antique Russian icon. Features an oil and wood panel rendering of a regal figure holding a Royal scepter with a crucifix at the end while seated in a throne. Regal figure is flanked by followers, with their hands clasped, looking up at him in admiration. Marked in old Russian characters along the top. Finished in a gilded and painted wood frame along with a fringed red velvet background.
